A teacher is like Spring,
Who nurtures new green sprouts,
Encourages and leads them,
Whenever they have doubts.
A teacher is like Summer,
Whose sunny temperament
Makes studying a pleasure,
Preventing discontent.
A teacher is like Fall,
With methods crisp and clear,
Lessons of bright colors
And a happy atmosphere.
A teacher is like Winter,
While it’s snowing hard outside,
Keeping students comfortable,
As a warm and helpful guide.
Teacher, you do all these things,
With a pleasant attitude;
You’re a teacher for all seasons,
And you have my gratitude!

I believe that all children can learn. I believe that all children learn in different ways and that if learning is FUN for children, then they will be motivated to learn. Some children learn through music and movement, other children learn visually, some learn by listening, some learn working with partners, and most learn through a combination of many strategies! It is my job to make sure that multiple forms of learning occur every day so that your child’s learning is accessed. Although all children learn in different ways, that is not to say that there is only one way of learning for every child; often times it is a combination of many forms of learning that comprises success. I will make sure that music and movement, visuals, and group work is a big part of our focus.
